Victor Oladipo Leaves Game vs Lakers with Knee Injury

The Victor Oladipo era in Miami is not off to a hot start as the Heat guard had to leave Thursday's contest against the Los Angeles Lakers with an apparent right knee injury.

The play transpired when after cutting to the bucket for a dunk midway through the fourth quarter, the shooting-guard grabbed his knee and knew immediately something wasn't right.

Miami head coach Erik Spoelstra spoke to the media after the game and is hopeful it's nothing serious but at this point it's certainly hard to tell. Oladipo will be evaluated on Friday by team doctors as the Heat hold their breath for good news.

So far this season with the Indiana Pacers, Houston Rockets and the Heat, Oladipo has averaged 19.8 points, 4.9 boards, and 4.7 assists per game and Miami is going to need him at the top of his game come playoff time if they want to get back to the Finals.
