James Harden Plans To Play Tonight Game 5!

In a surprising move, James Harden says he plans to play in tonight's Game 5 of their series with the Milwaukee Bucks.

Harden got through shootaround today with no problems, and has been upgraded first to "doubtful" and now to "questionable".  The news is surprising since a hamstring injury usually takes a minimum of two weeks to heal.

What makes this potential quick return troubling, is that Harden tried to come back from a hamstring injury during the regular season after just two games, and re-injured it, causing him to miss a month of action.

Injury expert Dr. Brian Sutterer explains that coming back too soon from a tight hamstring definitely puts a player at risk for making the injury worse:

The Nets, of course, are desperate to have Harden back, as their 2-0 lead in this series has evaporated, now tied at 2-2. We'll see just how desperate they are tonight.
