This Chris Paul/Devin Booker FaceTime Story is Insane! — Sums Up Suns Season

This is a story about the moment Devin Booker was getting his badly broken nose patched up during Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals. But it might as well be the defining story of this incredible Phoenix Suns season so far:

As told by Phoenix Suns Managing Partner Robert Sarver on NBA Network Radio, while Booker was being treated by a team of doctors for his gruesome injury, Chris Paul's security guard was squeezed in between the medical personnel, holding a FaceTime call up in front of Booker's face! CP3 was giving Booker a play call and a pep talk for when he got back out on the court.

Now, with less than a minute to go in the 3rd quarter, they're still stitching him up, and Booker is "yelling at the surgeon to finish quickly so he can get back out there to try for the 2-for-1 shot with :35 seconds to go."

Turns out Book made it back on the floor for the start of the 4th quarter, and with his bloodied, battered, bruised and stitched-up nose, he was the one who set the pick on Los Angeles Clippers' 7-foot center Ivica Zubac, to free up Deandre Ayton for a memorable epic game-winning shot.

Booker and Paul continue their "laser-focused" run towards a championship in the NBA Finals, against either the Milwaukee Bucks or the Atlanta Hawks.
