Rumor: Kemba Walker On The Move Again, To L.A.?

Maybe Kemba Walker shouldn't be so quick to unpack his stuff in Oklahoma City. According to ESPN's Zach Lowe, both Los Angeles teams, the Lakers and the Clippers, will be expressing interest in bringing Kemba to Hollywood.

"I think both the L.A. teams are going to be sniffing around Kemba Walker", said Lowe on his podcast today.

It was only two weeks ago that Walker was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder from the Boston Celtics, in exchange for Al Horford. But many wondered at the time if OKC was really the final stop for Walker this offseason.

The Lakers are looking for an upgrade at point guard, maybe even more so now that we've learned that incumbent PG Dennis Schroder, whose season in L.A. was uninspiring, is looking for a contract in the $100-$120 million dollar range in free agency.

The Clippers, of course, fresh off their elimination at the hands of the Phoenix Suns in the Western Conference Final, have been in dire straits at the point guard position for some time now. Kawhi Leonard had made references long ago to the Clippers needing an upgrade at the position

It would appear that the Kemba Walker story for this offseason might not be completely written. After all, this is Hollywood we're talking about. Someone is always looking to write a new script.
