Patrick Beverley On The Move Again, Traded by Grizzlies

Just two days after acquiring Patrick Beverley in a 4-player swap with the Los Angeles Clippers, the Memphis Grizzlies have sent the pesky point guard to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

At the time of Sunday's trade, it was widely believed that Beverley would be on the move again, as the Grizzlies have a crowded backcourt already.

He was apparently ready and willing to join the Grizzlies, as he sent out a tweet immediately after the trade was announced.

PatBev will now be grit-and-grinding it out in Minnesota.

In return, Memphis gets Jarrett Culver and Juancho Hernangomez.  Culver was the No. 6 pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, but hasn't performed like a 6th pick in his two years in Minnesota, averaging only 7.8 PPG and shooting just 40% over those couple of seasons. In fact, he'd been rumored to be on his way out for some time.

Hernangomez has also been less than dynamic in his 5 years in the league, with career averages of 5.7 PPG and 2.7 rebounds.
