Trade Rumor: Pacers and 76ers Talking Ben Simmons Deal

Reports have surfaced suggesting the Indiana Pacers have held trade discussions with the Philadelphia 76ers in regards to the disgruntled Ben Simmons.

The 76ers don't mind what they see from the Pacers and have asked for Caris LeVert to be included in the package. It's an interesting ask as LeVert has had a history of major injuries and is currently sidelined with a stress fracture in his back. Word is he will be ready for the opening tip this season.

The Pacers guard has become a suitcase as he was the main ingredient in the James Harden trade to Brooklyn and then shipped off to the Pacers. But when you average a career high 20.2 points, 5.2 assists and 4.6 boards in 2020-21, you can understand why team's are interested.

Simmons on the other hand is holding out until a trade is complete. Last season he put up 14.3 ppg, 7.2 rpg, 6.9 apg and finished running up in NBA's Defensive Player of the Year voting.

Expect a Simmons trade to be finalized in the next two weeks, and by the sounds of it, he could be headed to Indiana.
