Cleveland Cavaliers Lose Another Player

The Cleveland Cavaliers will be without Isaac Okoro for the next two to three weeks, as he is currently dealing with an elbow injury.

Okoro injured his elbow in Sunday's game against the Indiana Pacers. Although it is never a good thing for a player to miss time, it certainly isn't as bad as fans worried. Assuming he recovers on schedule, we should see him before the end of January.

However, even with this being the case, this is still very hard news for the Cavaliers. The injury bug has been brutal to the Cavaliers this season, as both Ricky Rubio and Collin Sexton are already done for the campaign. Therefore, it's safe to say that Cleveland is continuing to become more shorthanded.

The Cavaliers will now have to try to keep their wonderful season going without another key player. Heading into the regular season with very low expectations, they have shocked the league and currently have a 21-16 record - which is good for fifth in the Eastern Conference. Let's see if they can keep it up without Okoro.

In 27 games this season, Okoro has averaged 9.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.9 assists.
