NBA Rumors: Cavaliers Interested In 3 Players

According to Michael Scotto, the Cleveland Cavaliers are currently targeting Eric Gordon, Caris LeVert, and Terrence Ross.

It makes sense that the Cavaliers are looking to be big buyers at the deadline this year. At this juncture of the season, they sport a 30-19 record and are third in the Eastern Conference. This is far better than anyone could have predicted them to be, but to keep this Cinderella story going, they should look to add more players. This is especially true when remembering they have serious injury trouble.

Gordon has been one of the biggest names in the rumor mill all season. The 33-year-old is currently stuck on a rebuilding Houston Rockets team and could use a change of scenery. In 41 contests this year, he is averaging 14.6 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 3.2 assists.

LeVert is another big name in the rumor mill who would fit in swimmingly with the Cavaliers. He's been having a very good year with the Indiana Pacers and would net them a very solid return because of it. In 34 games this season, he is averaging 18.2 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 4.2 assists. In Cleveland, he'd be a starter and give them a big boost in the process.

Ross has been with the Orlando Magic for six straight seasons and has been simply a reliable player. In 40 games this season, he has averaged 11.6 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.0 assists. He works well coming off the bench, but could also work well in Cleveland's primary rotation.

As we get closer to the deadline, don't be surprised to see the Cavaliers add at least one of these three.
