NBA Rumors: Nets Agree To Find Veteran New Home

The Brooklyn Nets and Paul Millsap have agreed to find the veteran a new home.

Millsap wants more opportunities to play, but Brooklyn's current depth has made it hard for him to get onto the court as frequently as he'd like to. Due to this, it does make sense for both parties to move forward at this time.

In 24 games this season, Millsap has averaged 3.4 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.0 assists. With that, he's only been playing 11.3 minutes per night, so it's understandable that his statistics are lower than in previous years. Perhaps a move to another team could help him find his old groove.

Millsap is a grizzled veteran, to say the least. In 1,076 career games between the Utah Jazz, Atlanta Hawks, Denver Nuggets, and Nets, he has averaged 13.5 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 2.2 assists. With that, he's a four-time All-Star, so he comes with quite the resume. As a result of this, this could spark teams to have interest in him.

Nevertheless, expect a trade soon.
