NBA Rumors: The Sixers Turned Down This HUGE Pistons Offer for Ben Simmons

We knew that Daryl Morey was asking for the moon for Ben Simmons, but many are finding it hard to believe the Philadelphia 76ers president turned down this massive offer from the Detroit Pistons.

According to Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report, the Pistons offered Jerami Grant, Saddiq Bey, Kelly Olynyk and a 1st-round pick for Philly's disgrunted holdout guard. But Morey turned it down.

Grant is one of the most coveted players on the NBA trade market, having developed into a top scoring option (20+ points/game this season and last). He's still just 27.

The 22-year-old Bey has also been developing into a top wing player himself, having been on fire most of the last month, averaging 20 points a game over that span.

Plus a 1st-round draft pick from the lowly Pistons. Olynyk is just filler in this deal, but even he is a competent backup big, averaging 12.5 points, with a 36% career 3pt mark.

All that for a dude who has essentially been holding out all season.

"The Pistons' package of Grant, Saddiq Bey, Kelly Olynyk and a first-round pick... was not met with much enthusiasm by Philadelphia brass, league sources told B/R," wrote Fischer.

This lends more credence to our report yesterday about who Morey is really holding out for.
