Video: Kyle Kuzma Destroys Joel Embiid With Poster Dunk

There was plenty of NBA action to go around Sunday as there were 12 games in total, including a matchup between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Washington Wizards.  Philadelphia came into Monday's game, winning 10 of their last 11, while the Wizards had a more pedestrian record of 5-5 in their last 10 games.  The 76ers are missing multiple regulars which makes their recent success all the more impressive, but the Wizards weren't about to throw them a party, as they were just happy to have star guard Bradley Beal back after missing 3 games.  Eager to get some momentum early in the game, the Wizards dropped 38 points in the first quarter and never looked back en route to a 117-98 drubbing in front of a hometown crowd.

The most spectacular play in the game, and one of the more spectacular plays of the season, occurred with about four and a half minutes left in the first half.  With the Wizards holding a comfortable 9-point lead and possession of the ball, point guard Raul Neto spotted Kyle Kuzma standing at the 3-point line unattended to.  Naturally, he rifled off a pass to the open forward, but after faking the shot, Kuzma's eyes lit up as he saw an open lane and an unsuspecting Joel Embiid waiting under the basket.  Passing up an open three to attempt to dunk on one of the league's best defensive players isn't exactly a smart play, but somehow it turned into a dunk for the ages at the expense of the 76ers center:

Kyle Kuzma is having somewhat of a comeback, his first with the Wizards after a disappointing end to his tenure with the Lakers, and plays like this are a reminder not to count him out.  And maybe to get out of his way.
