Cavaliers Sign Veteran Guard
The Cleveland Cavaliers have signed Tim Frazier to a 10-day contract.
Frazier played in 10 games with the Orlando Magic this season, where he averaged 3.7 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 3.3 assists. Overall, he didn't look too bad coming off the bench at all, but the Magic weren't willing to commit to him for the entire season. Now, the 31-year-old will be looking to do well with the Cavaliers and earn himself a contract from here.
At this point of the season, the Cavaliers have a 35-24 record and are fifth in the Eastern Conference. Thus, they are currently gearing up for the playoffs, so it certainly isn't a bad thing for them to add a bit more depth to their roster - even if it's only temporarily.
In 287 career games between the Philadelphia 76ers, Portland Trail Blazers, New Orleans Pelicans, Washington Wizards, Milwaukee Bucks, Detroit Pistons, Memphis Grizzlies, and Magic, Frazier has averaged 4.9 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 4.0 assists.
