Former NBA Rookie Of The Year Reinstated To NBA After 2+ Year Suspension
After being suspended by the NBA in 2019 for violating the league's anti-drug program, the former Rookie Of The Year, Tyreke Evans, has been reinstated.
The NBA is reinstating guard Tyreke Evans, sources tell ESPN. He was suspended from the league in 2019 with a drug ban.

Evans had tested positive for a "drug of abuse", and was suspended for two years in 2019. He last played for the Indiana Pacers in the 2018-19 season, but really made a name for himself with the Sacramento Kings, when he was named the NBA's top rookie in 2009-10.
The 32-year-old guard has been priming himself for this opportunity as we reported late last year, and workout videos showed he was in great shape.

He's now eligible to negotiate a contract with NBA teams, and is expected to make himself available for workouts, as reported by Adrian Wojnarowski.
Evans had a unique skill set in his prime, and has career averages of 15.7 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.6 assists.
