NBA Rumors: Bulls Interested In Nets Big Man

According to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, the Chicago Bulls could be interested in Nets big man Paul Millsap.

The Nets have been in the process of trying to find Millsap a new home. The veteran is looking for the opportunity to receive more playing time, as he hasn't been getting much with the Nets. Scotto also noted that the Bulls did pursue Millsap previously, so there's a good chance that they'd be willing to explore this avenue again.

In 24 games this season, Millsap has averaged 3.4 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.0 assists. With that, he has averaged just 11.3 minutes per game throughout the whole season. Thus, it does make sense as to why he's looking for a new home. Keep in mind, he is a four-time All-Star who also started in 36 out of his 56 games with the Denver Nuggets last season.

At this time, the Bulls have a 32-18 record and are at the top of the Eastern Conference. They have had been hit with the injury bug all season and should be looking to make some additions to their roster because of it. Although Millsap wouldn't be a blockbuster deal, he still could be solid to have around.

Alas, time will tell if Millsap gets moved to the Bulls before the upcoming trade deadline.
