Utah Jazz Sign Forward

The Utah Jazz have signed Xavier Sneed to a two-way contract.

The Jazz had a two-way roster spot open, as they just waived Malik Fitts back in January. Now, Sneed will provide them with more depth for the remainder of this campaign when called upon.

Sneed has just two games of NBA experience under his belt, and they came earlier this season with the Memphis Grizzlies. With them, he averaged 4.0 minutes played and 1.0 rebounds per contest. This is an extremely small sample size, so he will be looking to build on his numbers from here with the Jazz.

Sneed has had himself a very good year with the Greensboro Swarm of the G League, however. In eight games thus far, he has averaged 16.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 2.5 assists. This is likely why the Jazz are deciding to give him this nice opportunity. Let's see if these numbers translate over to the NBA at all from here.

Overall, this is a low-risk move that shouldn't hurt the Jazz in the slightest.
