Atlanta Hawks Sign Forward

The Atlanta Hawks are signing Chaundee Brown Jr. to a two-way contract.

Brown Jr. has appeared in five NBA games this season between the Los Angeles Lakers and Hawks. During them, he averaged 6.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 0.8 assists. With Atlanta, however, he held a more prominent role, as he averaged 27.7 minutes per game and started in two of them.

Brown Jr. has primarily played this season with the South Bay Lakers of the G-League. He was quite effective in South Bay, as he averaged 16.3 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 1.7 assists in 38 games. With numbers like these, it is easy to understand why the Hawks have decided to give him this two-way deal.

It will be intriguing to see how Brown Jr. performs from here. He will not only be aiming to build on his NBA experience, but also impress them enough to land a standard contract for next season.
