Drake's Bold Prediction in Heat-Sixers Series

Shortly after his Toronto Raptors fell to Philadelphia in Game 6, Drake let Joel Embiid know his prediction in the upcoming series between the Sixers and the Heat. Well, it's safe to say Drake did not hold back in rooting for Miami to sweep Philly in round two.

To be fair, Embiid did start the jab fest by saying the Sixers really should have swept the Raptors. The Canadian rapper just came up with a more savage clap back to the Cameroonian center.

Drake and Embiid also had a friendly banter back in Game 3, when Embiid made the game-winning three-pointer in overtime to stun the Raptors squad, including the Grammy Award-winning artist.

Embiid called for a sweep back then, but obviously, the Raptors put on a valiant effort to extend the series to six games. They even beat Philadelphia on the road in Game 5, sparking social media discussions on whether the Sixers will do the impossible and choke a 3-0 series lead.

Nonetheless, they proved the naysayers wrong in Game 6.

Embiid and the Sixers ended Toronto's season to the tune of a 132-97 beatdown on Thursday. The 5-time All-Star scored 33 points to go along with 10 rebounds and three blocks to finish off the Raptors.

Philly will now take on the Miami Heat in the East semi-finals. Miami defeated the Atlanta Hawks in five games.

This is about to be an interesting series, with Jimmy Butler going up against his former team.

Game 1 of the Philadelphia-Miami series tips off on Monday.
