NBA Rumors: Free Agent Zach LaVine's Future Looking Clearer

There has been a lot of speculation over where free agent Zach LaVine may be plying his trade next season. The Chicago Bulls' two-time All-Star has talked about wanting to "enjoy" free agency, and several teams have been linked to his services.

But after all is said and done, according to a new report, LaVine is expected to stay right where he is.

Quoting Bleacher Report's Jake Fischer, LaVine "is expected to re-sign with the Chicago Bulls once the free-agency negotiation period opens June 30, sources told B/R."

Teams such as the Portland Trail Blazers, San Antonio Spurs, Atlanta Hawks and Los Angeles Lakers were all said to be intending to make a big push to steal LaVine from the Windy City, but it appears he will be staying put, if the Bulls are ready to pony up the max.

Chicago can offer a 5-year, $212M contract to keep LaVine, while other teams can only offer 4 years and $160M.
