NBA Rumors: 3 Potential Landing Spots For Myles Turner

With the rumor that the Indiana Pacers are once again putting Myles Turner on the trade block, a number of teams have emerged as the top suitors for the shot-blocking, floor-spacing center.

Turner was a prime trade candidate at the deadline this year, but a stress reaction injury in his foot curtailed the talks... until now. Let's have a look at the top 3 potential landing spots for Turner, as per Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report.

1. Charlotte Hornets

This is a team, says Fischer, that has "long been considered a potential landing spot for Turner". With the Pacers looking to get draft capital and young assets in return, there has been word that the Hornets "have communicated around the league a willingness to move the No. 15 pick."

2. Toronto Raptors

The Raptors were linked to Turner back at the trade deadline, and many are suggesting that interest hasn't waned. Toronto can definitely use both of the main skills that the 26-year-old center possesses: elite rim protection and floor spacing from a big.

3. New York Knicks

This is another team that expressed interest in Turner before the trade deadline, and the Knicks are still considering their options at the 'five'. Mitchell Robinson, who does offer a shot-blocking presence, will be an unrestricted free agent if New York decides not to lock him up to an extension by June 30th.

More teams will undoubtedly enter the mix as well, and this is a situation worth monitoring through the summer.
