This locks up a steady veteran for a Bucks team that is looking to contend for many more years to come. Connaughton's current deal is now at four years, $34 million until the 2025-26 season.
The 29-year-old has been with the Bucks since 2018 and has become a key role player off the bench. He averaged a career-best 9.9 points and shot 39.5 percent from beyond the three-point arc.
Connaughton also stepped up in the absence of All-Star forward Khris Middleton during the 2022 NBA playoffs.
In their second-round series versus the Boston Celtics, the 6-foot-5 wing averaged 10.3 points and 4.6 rebounds while shooting 53.8 percent from the field and 42.4 percent from three.
