Miles Bridges Officially Charged With 3 Felony Counts

Charlotte Hornets restricted free agent forward Miles Bridges has now officially been charged with felony counts of domestic violence and child abuse.

He was arrested last month for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend in front of their two children.

He faces one felony count of injuring a child's parent and two felony counts of child abuse under circumstances or conditions likely to cause great bodily injury or death.

The Los Angeles District Attorney's release states that the case "includes an allegation of causing great bodily injury on the domestic violence victim." It doesn't go into details of the child abuse charges.

"These are very serious charges that we will continue to monitor,'' the Hornets said.

The 6-foot-7, 225-pound Bridges had a breakthrough year this past season, setting himself up for what could have been a payday of some $170M or more. At this point, it's certainly unclear what his future holds.
