NBA Rumors: Kyrie Irving's Thoughts On Nash/Marks

Well, that makes it unanimous. At least among Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. After Durant's brazen ultimatum to Brooklyn Nets' owner Joe Tsai to fire head coach Steve Nash and GM Sean Marks if he is to stay in Brooklyn, reports are out today that Kyrie also "hates" the coach and GM.

“Kyrie Irving hates these guys,” a source told Josh Kosman of The New York Post. “He feels that Nash is terrible and Marks is bad.”

If this is true, it should make for some interesting times come Sept. 23 and the start of training camp. Whether or not Durant is on the team, Kyrie has picked up the $36M option on his contract for the coming season, and unless a long-rumored trade with the Los Angeles Lakers is worked out, Irving will be the starting point guard for a coach he thinks is "terrible" and that he "hates."

In fact, Irving once said that he didn't even think the Nets really had a head coach, despite the presence of Nash.

For his part, Brooklyn Nets' owner Joe Tsai has already come out and publicly backed his coach and GM.
