Toronto Raptors Guard/Forward Signs In Germany

He spent four seasons in the NBA, but never really broke through as a rotation player; now German-born guard/forward Isaac Bonga is headed back overseas to return home.

Bonga has signed a 2-year contract with Bayern Basket.

While Bonga didn't make much of an impact with the Toronto Raptors last season, playing in just 15 games and averaging less than one point per game, he did perform very well for the team's 905 G League squad, where averaged 19.6 points, 9.9 rebounds and 2.7 assists, while shooting 38% from three-point range.

The 6'8" Bonga, listed as a point guard/small forward, was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2018 NBA Draft by the Philadelphia 76ers, and split his first three seasons in the league between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Washington Wizards.

For the next two years at least, Bongo is going home.
