“What The F*ck Are You Doing?”: Rudy Gobert Ripped By Hall Of Famer

Rudy Gobert has long been considered arguably the top defensive player in the NBA. But what about his offense? While it's improved over the past few years, Hall of Famer Tracy McGrady has come out and slammed Gobert for not working to be an even better scorer.

"This is what I've been wondering: what the f*ck are you doing in the offseason?!" McGrady asked incredulously in speaking of Gobert. "This is bullsh*t! Like, what is your workout?!"

T-Mac then referred to a specific incident in the playoffs that really set him off.

"I was so mad at Rudy when they were playing against the (Houston) Rockets one year bro, and Chris Paul was guarding him in the post. I was mad as sh*t! He couldn't do nothing. Bro, you're 7'2", and a point guard is guarding you! He had no moves. No moves!"

Ouch.

Granted, now going into his first season with the Minnesota Timberwolves, it's true that Gobert won't be counted on to provide much offense, not on a team loaded with scoring from the likes of Karl-Anthony Towns, Anthony Edwards and D'Angelo Russell.

And to be fair, Gobert did average a near-career-high 15.6 points this past season, and shot a ridiculous (and league-leading) 71.3% from the floor. But it's those three Defensive Player of the Year awards that are Gobert's calling card, along with his six straight All-Defensive Team honors—the most ever for a center in NBA history (he passed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Hakeem Olajuwon this year, who each had five.)

The T-Wolves would be more than happy if Gobert continues that defensive mastery, while picking up any offensive scraps left behind from KAT and Ant-Man.
