Pacers Sign 8-Year Veteran Guard Plus Two Others

The Indiana Pacers are rounding their training camp roster into shape, today making a series of moves, headed up with the signing of 8-year veteran guard Langston Galloway.

Galloway, a 6'1" guard, has 8 years of experience in the NBA, with seven different teams. He split last season playing only a handful of games with Brooklyn and the Milwaukee Bucks on a couple of 10-day contracts. He's averaged 8.1 points and 36.8% on threes throughout his eight years.

His rookie season, 2014-15 with the New York Knicks, is still his best year in the NBA; he averaged 11.8 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.3 assists, all career highs.

The Pacers also brought back forward Justin Anderson, who spent 13 games in Indiana at the end of last season, and signed center Norvel Pelle.

They waived recent signees Bennie Boatwright, and guards Gabe York and David Stockton, but all three were on Exhibit 10 contracts, and are likely to wind up on the Pacers' G League affiliate, the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.
