Lottery Pick putting On A Show In Presason

Preseason games are normally not very indicative of what could happen once the season tips off for real. But if the Indiana Pacers' lottery pick Bennedict Mathurin performs anything like he's done in camp, they've got themselves a steal at No. 6.

He scored 27 points in a preseason win Wednesday night in New York, and as seen in the video above, capped it with a nasty windmill jam.

Oh, and just in case you didn't like that angle, Mathurin himself has you covered :

One of the questions around Pacers' camp is should Mathurin be a starter to open the season? With Chris Duarte and Buddy Hield as potential starters at the two and three, it's unknown as of yet if the rookie will crack the starting lineup. But check out his numbers through camp thus far:

Mathurin is averaging 20.3 points in less than 22 minutes per game. The 6'6" Canadian kid is tearing it up and has earned consideration to start alongside Tyrese Haliburton.
