Watch Jordan Poole Struggle To Address Draymond Green Situation

For the first time since the ugly incident in practice earlier in the preseason, Jordan Poole addressed the Draymond Green punch to his face, and it was a very uncomfortable and awkward few seconds.

After a quick "He apologized," Poole awkwardly added "professional, and we plan on handling ourselves that way," but then quickly changed the subject by saying "we're here to play basketball and everybody in the locker room and on the team knows what it takes to win a championship, and we're gonna do that on the court."

From there, it was an uncomfortable four second pause as he shook his head a bit, then added "that's really all I have to say... We're here to win a championship and keep hanging banners."

Green and Poole got into a heated disagreement at practice nearly two weeks ago, going chest-to-chest, before Green suddenly sent a violent right hook into Poole's face, knocking him out.

Green spent several days away from the team, but now... it's all good. Kind of. Certainly, for Poole it is, as he agreed to a massive 4-year extension on the weekend. That should help make him feel better. In fact, later in his media session he said he couldn't stop smiling while signing it.

"I didn't stop smiling," said Poole, while, naturally, smiling. "I really tried to stop smiling, but I couldn't, I just couldn't."

As for Draymond? He's likely not smiling after realizing that his hoped-for extension is apparently not forthcoming.
