Criminal Investigation Launched Into Josh Primo Accusations

A San Antonio Sheriff's Office has launched a criminal investigation into former San Antonio Spurs lottery pick Josh Primo. He was recently released by the Spurs for allegedly repeatedly exposing himself to female employees.

An ex-Spurs psychologist, Dr. Hillary Cauthen, claims that Primo exposed himself nine times in front of her. She is suing him and the Spurs over the handling of her allegations, which she says began nearly a year ago.

She also filed a criminal complaint against Primo, leading to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office saying today that a “preliminary investigation into the allegations is underway."

Cauthen's lawyer said after she first notified the Spurs of Primo's activities back in January of this year, they "ignored her repeated reports of indecent exposure on the part of Primo."

Primo's lawyers have denied the charges on his behalf, and the 19-year-old former No. 12 overall draft pick had released a statement to ESPN saying that he's been dealing with "mental health trauma" and hope to "help others who have suffered in a similar way."
