NBA Rumors: League Execs Monitoring Surprising Pistons Player Available On Trade Circuit

The Detroit Pistons are 4-15. And they're without Cade Cunningham indefinitely. Clearly, it's time for the Pistons to grease up the 'tank', and that means that they'll be in the trade market, ready to unload anything that's over 23 years of age.

According to Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports, that includes Bojan Bogdanovic, and now, even Saddiq Bey's name is being heard.

Bey is a surprising name to hear being out there, as he was thought to be one of the building blocks the Pistons are developing around. He's only turning 24 in April. Bey's numbers are down noticeably this season, however, to 14.7 points per game (16.1 last year), with a woeful 29% from 3-point range (career 36% before this season).

Because of that inconsistency, he's been bouncing back and forth from the starting unit to the bench. He's eligible for an extension after the season.

Fischer says "league personnel are monitoring" Bey, and that Detroit "has taken early calls on Bey from inquiring teams." Still, Fischer figures they'll evaluate him a bit further before entertaining a trade.

One player that certainly will be on the block for the right offer is 33-year-old Bojan Bogdanovic. He's off to a great start for the Pistons, averaging 20.6 points and shooting 40.2% from downtown. They recently signed him to a two-year extension, so any team landing him in a trade has the certainty that he won't be bolting any time soon.

We reported earlier this month about two teams that have already expressed interest in trading for Bogdanovic.
