After missing the entire 2021-22 season, Wiseman, 21, was looked at as a huge disappointment thus far, though a lot was expected of him this year by Steve Kerr and Co. He didn't perform, however, putting up just 6.8 points and 3.8 rebounds in about 13 minutes per game in his first 11 contests of the season before being demoted.
With the Santa Cruz Warriors in the G League, he performed better, averaging 15.6 points, 10.1 rebounds and 1.1 blocks over 26.6 minutes per game.
"It's been great, just the practice time that he's getting and that everybody in the G League gets," Steve Kerr said of Wiseman on Monday. "You're getting really good quality practices because you're generally only playing a couple games a week."
He showed his immense potential with Santa Cruz just five days ago.

James Wiseman DOMINATED with his first 20+ point double-double for the @GLeagueWarriors! He did this in only 27 minutes of action. pic.twitter.com/YpaZDnCGW5
Starting tonight, we'll see how all that G League work translates back to the NBA.
