NBA Rumors: Chicago Bulls & Trade Talks: "Evaluating All Their Options"

The Chicago Bulls are freefalling; losers of four straight and now at 11-18 on the season, in 11th spot in the Eastern Conference. A gloomy outlook on Lonzo Ball, and recent calls for them to "blow it up" have the Bulls admittedly "evaluating all their options."

According to Insider Brett Siegel, "many around the league have their eyes on the Bulls right now as a team that could potentially look to 'sell' ahead of the trade deadline."

He writes, in fact, that if things continue like this, "the general consensus around the league is that the Bulls will begin a massive roster reconstruction that could very well result in names like (DeMar) DeRozan, (Nikola) Vucevic and (Zach) LaVine being moved ahead of the trade deadline."

"Chicago just doesn’t have enough to compete with some of these new teams rising up in the conference, not to mention those at the top right now,” a source told him.

"There is movement to these talks and the Bulls are actively evaluating themselves and all of their options both to add and move talent ahead of the deadline.”

While DeRozan and LaVine have long-term, big-money contracts, Vucevic is on an expiring contract, so the likelihood of his moving on is high.

Alex Caruso and Coby White are other names to watch.
