Video: Magic's Mo Wagner Knocked Out COLD In Scrap With Pistons

Call it Malice at the Palace Revisited.

In a wild melee in Detroit, an altercation involving the Orlando Magic's Mo Wagner and the Detroit Pistons' Killian Hayes escalated quickly, and saw Hayes delivering a forearm knockout blow to the back of Wagner's head:

The incident began as Hayes and Wagner were chasing a loose ball downcourt, and Wagner aggressively bumped Hayes out of bounds, who then landed hard into the Pistons' bench. Wildness ensued, Wagner was grabbed and Hayes retaliated with the KO punch from behind.

Perhaps with visions of the original Malice at the Palace ominously emerging, the PA announcer at Little Caesar's Arena can be heard shouting "DO NOT MOVE FROM YOUR SEATS!"

Wagner can be seen stumbling away from the altercation after coming to, appearing to be half-conscious until he gathered himself while holding the back of his head. Most Orlando players had left the bench at the other end of the court to join the altercation, and undoubtedly many suspensions will be coming.

Wagner was ejected with a flagrant 2 for the original shove, Hayes was also ejected along with Hamidou Diallo, who was first in to confront Wagner and escalate the situation.
