Anthony Davis To Ramp Up Rehab In Preparation For Return

Los Angeles Lakers superstar Anthony Davis is reportedly going to ramp up his rehab process this week in preparation for his return as the team returns to L.A. this week, per ESPN's Dave McMenamin.

This is certainly the kind of good news Lakers fans have been wanting to hear regarding the 8-time All-Star.

According to the ESPN report, the pain in Davis' injured foot has continued to subside. He has been doing just spot shooting since the injury but seems ready to take a massive step in his recovery process.

Davis has been on the sidelines over the past 12 games, where the Lakers have gone 7-5. They are currently on a five-game winning streak.

The 6-foot-10 big man was putting up All-NBA numbers prior to injuring his foot on December 16 in a home game versus the Denver Nuggets.

On the season, Davis is averaging 27.4 points, 12.1 rebounds, and 2.1 blocks while shooting 59.4 percent from the field.
