Former NBA 1st Round Pick Wins A Car On The Price Is Right

What do NBA players do in their retired life after basketball, you might have wondered? We can't speak for all of them, but for former first-rounder Jared Jeffries, it includes going on game shows and winning huge prizes.

Jeffries won a new car on The Price Is Right Monday morning. And running around the stage he looked as excited as he did when scoring any of his 3,003 career points during his 11 years in the Association. Even if there's no chance he could fit his 6'11" frame inside that tiny Toyota.

Now 41, Jeffries was the No. 11 overall pick of the Washington Wizards in the 2002 NBA Draft. He was selected just after Amar'e Stoudamire went to the Phoenix Suns at No. 9, and Caron Butler to the Miami Heat at No. 10.

He averaged 4.8 points and 4.1 rebounds in his 11 seasons, spending most of his time (six years) with the New York Knicks.

But all those stats seem to pale in comparison today to the number 22,376. That was the correct price of the car that Jeffries guessed.
