NBA Rumors: Insider Links Miami Heat To Knicks Forward

The Miami Heat are said to be one of the more active teams in these weeks leading up to the NBA trade deadline on February 9th. In their search for another wing, a new report has them being interested in the New York Knicks' forgotten man, Cam Reddish.

Earlier this week, the Knicks ramped-up their attempts to trade Reddish, who hasn't received a minute of court time in 23 consecutive games from coach Tom Thibodeau. New York acquired him in a trade from the Atlanta Hawks just over a year ago, but he hasn't been able to win consistent playing time.

The Knicks are asking for a second-rounder (after trading a first-rounder for him last year), and we heard about three teams that were interested, including the Dallas Mavericks, Los Angeles Lakers and Milwaukee Bucks.

Now, according to Ian Begley of SNY, we can add the Heat to that equation.

"Team personnel in Miami are intrigued by the 23-year-old," writes Begley.

The Heat have plenty of decisions to make before the deadline, as they continue to try to deal an expensive shooter who's having an off-year, and a point guard with a bloated contract
