Breaking: Nuggets' Bones Hyland On The Move

It was only a matter of time this week before the Denver Nuggets moved Bones Hyland. He'd fallen out of favor with the coaching staff and had lost his role in the rotation. Now he's on the move to the Los Angeles Clippers.

In return, Denver gets second round picks in 2024 and 2025, essentially replacing the picks they'd sent to the Los Angeles Lakers earlier today for Thomas Bryant.

Hyland hasn't gotten off the bench for four straight games, and since word came out late last month that the 22-year-old was on the trade block, he's seen his playing time dwindle to literally nothing, and he's been said to have "checked out."

It was his defense that led to friction with Nuggets head coach Michael Malone, but Hyland can score the ball on offense.

He's top 10 in three-pointers off the bench, and top 15 in points overall on a second unit.

Hyland is averaging 12.1 points and 3.0 assists, while shooting 37.8% from behind the three-point line.
