Giannis Antetokounmpo Dominates in Milwaukee Bucks Win Over Charlotte Hornets

The Milwaukee Bucks took care of business on Tuesday night, topping the Charlotte Hornets 124-115 thanks to another overpowering performance from Giannis Antetokounmpo. The two-time MVP logged 34 points, 18 rebounds, and four assists. Antetokounmpo hit 14 of his 24 field goal attempts and five of his six free throws. He has been on an absolute tear since returning from a five-game absence against the Detroit Pistons on January 23rd, averaging 37.4 points, 13.8 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game over his last five appearances.

It speaks to the impossibly high standard that Antetokounmpo has set that his colossal season appears to be floating under the radar. Antetokounmpo is averaging a career-high 31.8 points per game for a Bucks team that's 34-17 and second in the Eastern Conference, yet he isn't even in the top four for MVP odds. Barring a borderline superhuman finish to the season, Antetokounmpo will have to content himself with pursuing a second NBA title in the playoffs.
