NBA Rumors: Bulls Star Getting "Serious Interest" On Trade Market

Chicago Bulls star DeMar DeRozan is reportedly getting "serious interest" among rival teams on the trade market, as said in an article by David Akerman of Ahn Fire Digital.

Though several teams are reportedly keeping an eye on the 6-time All-Star, Chicago is still adamant about keeping the core of DeRozan, Zach LaVine, and Nikola Vucevic past the deadline.

DeRozan might be Chicago's top trade asset as he is on a pretty team-friendly deal while still having a stellar season. He is making $27.3 million this season and will be on the books for $28.6 million next year.

Despite the Bulls' struggles, DeRozan is still having an All-Star campaign. In 49 games this season, the 33-year-old is averaging 26.0 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 5.0 assists while shooting a career-best 51.1 percent from the field.

The Bulls are in a tight spot in the Eastern Conference standings — 9th with a 25-27 record and just 1.5 games above the 12th-seeded Toronto Raptors.
