NBA Rumors: "Half The League" Calling The Hawks For Wing Scorer

There's been a lot of "stuff" going on in the ATL this season. The Atlanta Hawks have been embroiled in controversy; their coach has contemplated quitting, their star player has had disagreements with the team, other players have been in the rumor mill, and they've generally disappointed, sitting at .500.

What will the Hawks do at the trade deadline? If they're looking to move anyone, they'll have "no shortage of trade interest" for sniper Bogdan Bogdanović.

Sam Amick of The Athletic writes that yet another Bogdanovic is on teams' radars this trade season.

League sources say the Hawks have no shortage of trade interest in Bogdan Bogdanović as well — as in “half the league is calling” type stuff. The 30-year-old guard has a player option for $18 million next season, so most teams would understandably view him as a short-term rental (with the hopes of re-signing him if he opts out).

Bogey is as consistent as they come, averaging 15.5 points in this, his 6th NBA season.

He's once again draining threes at a high rate (37.4%) and providing the Hawks with his always-reliable scoring off the bench. He's averaged at least 15 points per game in each of the last four seasons. It's no wonder he has over a dozen teams interested, as he would fit in on just about any contender.

Still just 30 years old, he'll likely become a free agent at year's end, as he can opt out of the final year of his contract at $18M.
