LeBron James Makes Massive Statement On All-Star Teammate

The Los Angeles Lakers walked into Golden State and stole Game 1 of their Western Conference Semi-Final matchup, and while LeBron James was once again an orchestrator in that victory, it was his All-Star teammate Anthony Davis that led the way.

After a fantastic 30 point, 23 rebound, 5 assist and 4 block night, James had this to say about Davis "AD will be up there when he's done playing (in the rafters alongside Shaq, Elgin Baylor, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Wilt Chamberlain). He continues to show why he's one of the best players in this league".

Davis is still early in his Lakers career, but he has been brilliant in the playoffs whenever the opportunity has presented itself, and if he can help this team to another title or two, James may be right, but right now, the bar for a retired jersey in LA is high, and Davis still has plenty of work to do to get to that point.
