Philadelphia 76ers To Interview Former NBA Coach Of The Year

The Philadelphia 76ers fell short of their goal once again in 2022/23, and after years of coming up just a little bit short, Head Coach Doc Rivers was officially fired, but with the reigning MVP still on the squad, they can always turn it around and take that next step in a hurry.

With so many coaches being fired this off-season so far, it shouldn't take much for the Sixers to find a qualified candidate, and it appears they will begin the search this week, as they will now officially meet with former Toronto Raptors Head Coach Nick Nurse.

With the likes of Monty Williams still out there, the Sixers are expected to go through a thorough search, so don't expect any hiring this week, but they could do a whole lot worse than the man that led the Toronto Raptors to their first ever NBA Championship.
