Chicago Bulls Rumors: Star Becoming Trade Candidate

The 2022-23 season was a disappointing one for the Chicago Bulls. They finished the campaign with an underwhelming 40-42 record and changes could be on the way because of it. The Athletic's Darnell Mayberry recently argued that the Bulls should consider trading star DeMar DeRozan while his trade value is heightened.

DeRozan is entering the final year of his contract, so this could be an avenue that the Bulls consider going down. After all, DeRozan could net the Bulls an excellent return when noting how well he has played over these last few seasons.

Several top-tier teams would love to add DeRozan to their roster, as he would only make them better. As a result, we should expect to see several clubs call the Bulls about his availability this offseason.

We will now need to wait and see what the Bulls decide to do with DeRozan from here. However, after how this campaign went, it would not be too surprising to see him shopped during the summer.
