Raptors Rumors: Pascal Siakam On Radar Of Eastern Conference Rival

Whether the Toronto Raptors actually want to trade two-time All-NBA selection Pascal Siakam is one question... Whether teams are pitching trade offers for the former NBA champion is another. The latest rumor from NBA Insiders is that the Atlanta Hawks are interested in acquiring Spicy P.

With players like John Collins, Clint Capela and De'Andre Hunter as "logical trade candidates", Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports says that "One player believed to be on the Hawks’ radar of potential trade targets is Raptors forward Pascal Siakam, sources said, and Toronto marks another team that front offices are closely monitoring for trade activity.

Whether Masai Ujiri and Bobby Webster are ready to pull the trigger on a franchise-resetting trade like one for Siakam is as yet unknown. Just like at the trade deadline back in February, the Raptors are said to still be deliberating a number of different pathways in which to go forward.

Siakam is a two-time All-Star as well as two-time All-NBA, and set career highs this season with 24.2 points and 5.8 assists along with 7.8 rebounds. He would add an impressive two-way threat in the frontcourt to the Hawks' backcourt duo of Trae Young and Dejounte Murray (assuming they hang on to both guards).
