4-Time All-Star Kemba Walker Finds New Home

Kemba Walker has found a home for the 2023-24 season, but it is not with an NBA club. Instead, the 12-year veteran is heading overseas, signing a one-year deal with AS Monaco Basket of France's LNB Pro A and the EuroLeague.

Walker appeared in just nine games this past season with the Dallas Mavericks, where he averaged 8.0 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per contest. From there, the 33-year-old would be cut by the Mavericks and would not find another home.

Walker has dealt with multiple knee injuries over the last few seasons, and it has seriously impacted his play. This forced move to Europe is a clear indicator of that, but alas, now he will be looking to put together a big year from here.

In 750 NBA games split between the Charlotte Bobcats/Hornets, Boston Celtics, New York Knicks, and Mavericks, Walker averaged 19.3 points, 5.3 assists, and 3.8 rebounds per game. We will need to wait and see if the four-time All-Star will get the chance to build on these NBA career stats later down the road.
