Warriors Give Private Workout To Their Former Starting Forward

We've noted in recent weeks that the Golden State Warriors have been giving a look to several free agents in the search for filling their final roster spot heading into camp next month.

The latest notable name the Dubs are having a look at is one of their own: former starting forward Glenn Robinson III.

Robinson will have a private workout for the Warriors, according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.

Still just 29, the swingman last played in the NBA two seasons ago, with the Sacramento Kings in 2020-21. But the season before that, he was a starting forward for the Dubs for 48 games in 2019-20. He, in fact, had the best run of his career during that stretch, averaging 12.9 points and 4.7 rebounds in 31 minutes per game. He also shot the lights out from three, hitting on 40% of his long-range bombs.

Over the course of his seven seasons in the NBA, he has a 37.3% mark from beyond the arc.

Robinson was also the 2017 NBA Slam Dunk Champion.

The team also has, or has plans to, have a look at other veteran free agents like Harry GilesDion Waiters, Trey Burke, Kent Bazemore and Juan Toscano-Anderson
