ESPN Reveal Surprise Player Ranking Of Young OKC Thunder Star

 

The annual ESPN ranking of NBA players will always come with major surprises, as one of the world's leading sports outlets will always look to draw attention at a busy time of year, and now, they've finished unveiling their Top 100 NBA players list ahead of the 2023-24 season.

There were plenty of surprises in there as usual, but the biggest was recently revealed, as the list ranked Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in the top-10 over players such as LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Devin Booker, Damian Lillard and Jimmy Butler.

In 2022-23, SGA was named to the All-Star team for the first time in his career, as well as being an All-NBA recipient, and while he's no doubt going to be one of the best players in the NBA for a long time, it's bold of ESPN to place him there right now. Ultimately though, they could certainly be right.
