Report: Memphis Grizzlies Big Man To Miss The Entire 2023-24 Season

 

The Memphis Grizzlies have been one of the Western Conference's most entertaining teams in recent years behind Ja Morant, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Desmond Bane, but through it all, one of their most influential players has been veteran big man Steven Adams.

Now, in heartbreaking news for the Grizzlies and Adams, it has been confirmed by Shams Charania that he will undergo season-ending surgery before the 2023-24 campaign could even get underway, giving Memphis an even bigger hill to climb combined with the Morant suspension.

In two years with Memphis, Adams has averaged 7.5 points a game along with 10.6 rebounds, and is a driving force behind the physicality and presence down low for the Grizzlies, so without him, this will be an intriguing team to watch throughout 2023-24.
