Breaking: Miles Bridges Makes Big Free Agent Decision
Unrestricted free agent Miles Bridges has been linked to several teams this offseason, as he and the Charlotte Hornets had not been able to come to terms on an extension over the past two years. They were even considering doing a sign-and-trade to get him to the destination he wanted.
Turns out, that destination was right back in Charlotte.

The Cleveland Cavaliers, among other teams, had expressed interest in signing Bridges, but he has agreed to re-sign with the Hornets on a three-year contract worth $75 million.
The former No. 12 overall pick missed the entire 2022-23 season due to a suspension for an off-court domestic violence incident. He returned this year and picked up where he had left off, averaging 21 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists in 37.4 minutes.
As one of the Hornets' most important players, it's a big re-signing for the team. He'll re-join All-Star guard LaMelo Ball and 3rd-place Rookie of the Year contender Brandon Miller.
In five NBA seasons, all with Charlotte, Bridges has averaged 14.8 points, six rebounds and 2.5 assists in 360 career games.
