Green, 32, will bring a defensive presence to the wing for Detroit, as he'll be entering his seventh NBA season. He averaged 5.1 points per game & 3.2 rebound in 18.5 minutes per contest across 68 games last season split between the New Orleans Pelicans & Cleveland Cavaliers.
The 6'4" guard/forward was a late starter in the NBA, as he played in Europe for his first five professional seasons from 2015-19.
In 263 games, playing an average of 16.8 minutes, Green has posted marks of 5.1 points and 3.2 rebounds per game. His peak came in 2021-22 in the middle of a 3+ year run with the Chicago Bulls, when he made 45 starts and averaged 23.4 minutes, registering 7.2 ppg, 4.2 boards and one steal per game.
