According to insider Evan Sidery, Love, 37, will be looking to join a contender for what will likely be his final season in the NBA.
Love was traded from Miami to Utah this summer, in a three-team deal that landed Norman Powell with the Miami Heat, and John Collins with the Los Angeles Clippers.
Love isn't really a rotation player anymore, and only played 23 games last season, at just under 11 minutes per contest with Miami.
He has a career 37% mark from three-point range, his only calling card at this point. He was a major contributor to the Cleveland Cavaliers' NBA title run in 2016, and also helped in a support role with the Heat when they went to the NBA Finals in 2023.
For his 17-year career, Love has averaged 16.2 points along with 10 rebounds and 2.3 assists, along with that 37% pct. from long distance.
The five-time All-Star has been previously rumored to have interest in a "glamour market," with teams like the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers on his radar. If he made his way to the Lakers, he'd be reunited with LeBron James, who he teamed up with in Cleveland for that 2016 title.
